DSC

DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) measures changes in thermal energy within a sample when it is heated or cooled according to a specific temperature program. It is commonly used to examine reaction temperatures and reaction energy amounts for processes such as melting, crystallization, crystal transition, and glass transition.

Rigaku's DSC instruments feature various attachments, including industry-leading cooling units and sample observation, enhancing the devices' expandability, temperature range, and safety. This allows for multi-faceted data acquisition even for phenomena that were previously difficult to discern, making it suitable for a wider range of material analyses.
