[News] WDXRF Automation system, SLG2 sales start
A sample loading system for the scanning X-ray fluorescence analyzers ZSX Primus III NEXT and ZSX Primus IV has been developed.
X-ray fluorescence analyzers are widely used in sites such as production and process control due to their features of non-destructive, rapid, and high-precision measurement. In recent years, to further improve productivity, reduce human error, ensure quality and safety, and address the issue of a declining workforce, the automation of analytical work (automation support) has been required.
We have released the sample loader SLG2 to achieve automation support for analytical work in industries such as cement and mining across global regions, including the Americas, Asia, China, Europe, and the Japanese market. The mechanism transports measurement samples, which are appropriately prepared by various sample preparation machines, to the X-ray fluorescence analyzer via a belt and sets them in a dedicated sample holder. The measurement of the set holder is carried out by the spectrometer and, after sending the measurement results to the upper system, the sample is returned to the original belt.
This feature addresses the challenges faced with recent production sites and is expected to improve productivity. Additionally, it allows personnel who have been responsible for these tasks to be utilized in higher value-added work, contributing to performance improvement.
