About ISIS Neutron and Muon Source
ISIS Neutron and Muon Source is a world-leading centre for research based at STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Its neutron and muon instruments provide unique, non-destructive insights into the properties of materials at the atomic scale.
ISIS supports a national and international community of more than 2,000 scientists working across physics, chemistry, materials science, geology, engineering, and biology. Experiments carried out at ISIS deliver results that cannot be achieved using other techniques and contribute to scientific, socio-economic, and environmental impact worldwide.
