Vullios
Measurement and analysis software for Rigaku Thermal Analysis instruments
Thermo plus EVO/EVO2/EVO3 series
Vullios Overview
Rigaku’s Vullios software is a comprehensive environment that controls measurements and analyzes measurement data. It runs on Windows PCs and can control up to eight thermal analysis devices.
Vullios is advanced, highly operable and multifunctional software that uses the same familiar interface as the Thermo plus EVO2 software.
Uses a familiar Windows menu format
You can use the Thermo plus EVO/EVO2/EVO3 series thermal analyzers and the high-performance Dynamic Thermal Analysis series in a familiar Windows environment. The measurement files can be exported to Word or Excel directly, and the output format can be changed using the layout editing function.
Variety of protection and guidance functions
The software is equipped with various protection functions, such as a Limiter function that can regulate the maximum operating temperature for each device, and an Input error prevention function that warns of a mismatch between the set temperature and the sample container used. Furthermore, it is easy to operate even if you are not a dedicated operator. A Guidance function supports basic operations from measurement preparation to the start of measurement.
License-free
Vullios can be installed not only on the control PC but also on each user's PC, so measurement results can be analyzed anywhere.
Excellent compatibility
Measurement data in CSV format, even if it is from another company’s thermal analysis equipment, can be analyzed with Vullios analysis software using conversion software. And, of course, data measured with Vullios can be exported to a CSV file.
Labor-saving with automatic measurement
Allows up to 1000 continuous measurements to be performed by setting up the auto sample changer (ASC) on the program screen., This allows you to reduce the downtime of the instrument, such as the time spent changing reference and measurement samples. You can freely specify the measurement order of samples on the tray.
Vullios SureDI for ER/ES related regulations
Vullios SureDI is a system for the secure management of electronic records (ER) and electronic signatures (ES) for manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, etc. The system incorporates the security features necessary for product regulatory compliance and is compliant with the requirements of regulatory authorities such as 21 CFR Part 11.
Vullios SureDI provides robust access control, authority management, operation log recording, and audit trail management. This ensures data integrity and confirms compliance with electronic records and electronic signatures.
Management and maintenance by instrument usage history list
Information such as date, time of use, instrument name, operator, temperature program and measurement results are automatically saved to the log file in Excel format. Usage conditions are clear, which makes management and maintenance easy.
Reliable measurement data backup function
During measurement, even if a connection error occurs between the EVO2 station and the instrument, the instrument will continue to perform the measurement in progress and the data will be stored in the module. The saved data can be imported after the measurement is completed, protecting the valuable measured data.
Enhanced multiple display function
The TpEVO2 software was designed to add other files to the first file opened, so it was not possible to delete the first file.
Vullios eliminates the concept of primary data and handles all data equally. When saving a multiple display file, save it with a new name.
Changeable file saving location
You can specify the location where files are saved for each measurement. This is a convenient way to separate measurement data for each user when multiple people use one device.
Enhanced multiple display function
Vullios eliminates the concept of primary data and handles all data equally. When saving a multiple display file, save it with a new name.
Weight loss rate analysis table
You can create a weight loss rate analysis table that calculates the weight loss rate over a certain interval.
Gas purge time setting function
By setting the gas purge time, measurement will start automatically after the gas purge time has elapsed. There is no longer any need to return to the device when the gas purge ends.
Automatic input (barcode) function
By reading a barcode, the measurement conditions and temperature program settings registered in advance are input into the measurement software automatically. This makes it possible to avoid human errors caused by manual input.
*Optional (paid)
Automatic analysis
By creating an automatic analysis condition file that sets calibration and analysis items and analysis ranges, you can automatically execute the analysis at the end of a measurement or automatically analyze multiple measurement data at once. If you perform routine analysis operations every time, such as in quality control, you are freed from the need to set calibrations and analysis parameters for each measurement.
Easy screen operation
You can easily zoom in and out of the screen by scrolling the mouse.
- Zoom in and out of the selected curve
- When the cursor is inside the graph, the vertical and horizontal axes zoom in and out together
Select software from a list in the launcher
Thermal analysis software is managed by the launcher software.
The software list can be viewed all at once, allowing you to select visually.
Easy-to-read icons and easy-to-use ribbons
The program is designed with the familiar menu format of Windows, making it even easier to use.
The icons have also been redesigned to pictograms to deal with globalization.
One-screen management of measurement methods
Measurement file names, measurement conditions, temperature programs, and sample observation conditions can be set from a single screen, further improving operability.
"Measurement Condition" and "Temperature Program" can be saved individually or also in a set as a measurement method.
Calling up a device
When you click "Module identification" on the software, the display panel of the selected device will flash to tell you which device it is.
When multiple units of the same device are connected, this is useful for checking the measurement screen and the measurement device.
ECO mode
When measurement is completed, ECO mode can be selected in standby mode, reducing power consumption in standby mode.
In particular, with STA and TMA, you can quickly transition from standby mode to a stable measurement mode.
