When analyzing TG curve that shows a continuous mass loss, how do you decide where to divide the mass-loss steps?

Ideally, the best approach would be to adjust the measurement conditions so that the mass losses are clearly separated, but... even so,, this is not always practical. the TG derivative curve is a useful indicator when you want to separate the such mass loss curve.

Even when the TG curve changes continuously, inflection points may be found in the TG derivative curve. The most appropriate method is to divide the TG curve at these derivative inflection points and analyze it.
