UV Irradiation Unit
This attachment is suitable for the analysis of UV curing reactions such as in UV cured resins. The curing reaction during UV irradiation can be measured by DSC. It is equipped with two separate light guides allowing the sample and reference to be irradiated with UV light simultaneously while obtaining a stable baseline.
The UV light source unit can be selected from two types: LED lamp and mercury-xenon lamp, depending on the sample to be measured.

*1 Always replace the LED unit when changing the irradiation wavelength.
*2 Always remove the UV transmitting filter when changing the irradiation wavelength.
*3 Always install a condenser lens (accessory) when setting the irradiation wavelength to 400 mW/cm2 or more.
*4 Although a cooling unit can be connected, it does not support cooling measurements below room temperature.
✓ Cannot be used together with the sample observation unit.
✓ Cannot be used together with the gas selector.
