STA-SPME
Qualitative analysis of evolved gas by Solid Phase Micro Extraction (SPME)
Extracting gas using the SPME method allows convenient qualitative analysis of evolved gas without interfacing STA with GCMS.
SPME allows for easy sample extraction from solid, liquid, and gaseous samples without the need for complex equipment. By inserting a needle into the TG exhaust port within the temperature range where mass loss is observed, the gas captured on the SPME fiber can be injected into the GCMS injection port for separation and analysis in the GC column, enabling identification of reaction products.
