STA-SPME
Qualitative analysis of evolved gas by Solid Phase Micro Extraction (SPME)
Extracting gas using the SPME method allows convenient qualitative analysis of evolved gas without interfacing STA with GC-MS.
SPME allows for easy sample extraction from solid, liquid, and gaseous samples without the need for complex equipment. By inserting a needle into the TG exhaust port within the temperature range where mass loss is observed, the gas captured on the SPME fiber can be injected into the GC/MS injection port for separation and analysis in the GC column, enabling identification of reaction products.
