STAvesta ASC Safety cover

The ASC safety cover is designed to reduce mechanical hazards associated with the automatic sample changer (ASC).

During ASC operation and measurement, an electromagnetic lock is activated, and a microswitch for open/close detection prevents the cover from being opened. This mechanism ensures operator safety by preventing accidental contact with hazardous moving parts.

In addition to preventing mechanical hazards such as finger pinching during ASC operation, the full safety cover also encloses the furnace transfer mechanism, further reducing overall system risks.

Additional Safety Cover for Refrigerated Cooling Furnace

When retrofitting an ASC to the STAvesta/LR, an additional safety cover for the refrigerated cooling furnace is required.

Note: For STAvesta/LR+ASC systems, this cover is included as standard.
