Deep Dive Virtual Workshop 2. Digital Rock Analysis - 2. Segmentation and Property Analyses
Image segmentation, or labeling of all voxels, is the first step of the analysis. There are different techniques you can use for segmentation. Once the image is segmented into different phases, we can start analyzing basic properties, such as porosity and the ratio of open and closed pores. In this episode, we will review image segmentation, and calculate the basic properties of rock samples.
In this workshop, you will learn:
- How to segment rock CT images
- How to analyze basic properties, such as porosity and the ratio of open and closed pores
