Support timeline
As of April 7, 2026, NEX QC and NEX QC+ analyzers have been officially discontinued. Rigaku will continue to provide support for these instruments for a minimum of seven years. As these systems transition into legacy status, maintaining performance and planning ahead becomes increasingly important. With the introduction of the NEX QC II Series, the next generation of EDXRF analyzers is now available. Built on the proven foundation of the original NEX QC Series, the new series maintains a simple and user-friendly interface while incorporating several enhancements.
The NEX QC II Series offers:
- Graphene window SDD technology, with an enhanced detector configuration on the NEX QC II+
- Reinforced detector window protection designed for continuous industrial use
- Smaller footprint with built-in printer; no external PC required
- Redesigned touchscreen user interface focused on fast training and easy operation
- Optimized tube-to-sample geometry and new processing electronics
