This compact X-ray diffractometer is suitable for a wide range of applications, from quality control to research and development, and is compatible with various automation environments.
In quality control and research and development settings, manufacturers and researchers increasingly require rapid and reliable evaluation of the crystalline phases, degree of crystallinity and lattice constants of materials and products. However, adopting an X-ray diffractometer can present challenges, including X-ray diffractometers, such as issues relating to installation space, implementation and operating costs, the specialised knowledge required for measurement and analysis, and integration with automation systems. The MiniFlex XpC is equipped with an energy-efficient 800 W X-ray source, high-speed 1D detector with a large area (D/teX Ultra250) and EasyX software optimized for quality control. Depending on the specific use case and installation environment, it can be configured for applications ranging from quality control to autonomous laboratories.

It is equipped with an 800 W energy-efficient X-ray source designed for quality control applications and high-speed 1D detector with a large area (D/teX Ultra250). The compact optical design, including a shorter distance between the X-ray source and detector, makes more efficient use of X-ray intensity while reducing power consumption by 33% compared with conventional 1,200 W models.

The system incorporates a highly durable, high-precision sample horizontal goniometer. It has demonstrated the track record of over six months of error-free operation under continuous 24/7 operation, it minimizes unplanned downtime and delivering stable, reliable measurements required for quality control.
Simple three-tap operation and automated advanced analysis with EasyX
EasyX software, developed specifically for quality control applications, streamlines the entire workflow—from measurement and analysis to report generation—with just three taps. Using preconfigured analysis templates, users can automatically perform a wide range of analyses, from verifying peak positions and intensities to determining crystallite size, lattice constants, and multiphase quantitative analysis using the Rietveld method. EasyX also provides pass/fail summary lists and trend graphs for efficient quality monitoring.
Flexible configurations from benchtop systems to autonomous laboratories
Benchtop and floor-standing models are available, allowing users to select the configuration best suited to their installation environment, from research laboratories to production facilities. An eight-position sample changer is included as standard, enabling unattended measurement of multiple samples when combined with robotic handling systems or conveyor systems. The MiniFlex XpC is also compatible with Rigaku's LabLinc Studio for autonomous experimentation, making it easy to integrate into laboratory automation systems and autonomous research environments.
