Rigaku to Showcase Latest Analytical Solutions and New Products at JASIS 2026

Featuring technologies for batteries, electronic devices, and laboratory automation

The Rigaku Group will exhibit at JASIS 2026, to be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, from September 2 to 4, 2026. Celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, Rigaku will showcase its latest analytical instruments and solutions built on its core X-ray technologies. The exhibit will feature solutions for batteries, electronic devices, pharmaceuticals, and advanced materials, as well as laboratory automation technologies using AI and robotics.

  • Batteries: Rigaku will present analytical technologies supporting the entire battery value chain, from raw materials to recycling. Its non-destructive analysis solutions help visualize internal structures and defects, supporting R&D and quality control for next-generation batteries, including all-solid-state batteries.
  • Electronic Devices: Rigaku will showcase the newly launched Qualana micro-area X-ray fluorescence analyzer, along with the CT Lab HR160 high-resolution X-ray CT system for non-destructive inspection of internal structures and joints in electronic components. Solutions for next-generation SiC and GaN power devices will also be featured.
  • Pharmaceuticals: Rigaku will present technologies supporting drug development and manufacturing, including crystal structure analysis, solid-form development, raw material inspection, and residual catalyst analysis. The exhibit will also feature electron density topography, with potential applications in antibody drugs and biopharmaceuticals.
  • Laboratory Automation and Materials Development: To meet growing demand for R&D automation using AI and robotics, Rigaku will showcase the redesigned Compact X-ray diffractometer MiniFlex XpC, which supports laboratory automation. Featuring enhanced performance and a more compact design, the system can be configured for benchtop installation while maintaining the capabilities required for automated workflows. The new DicifferX Microarea Edition will also be on display, along with technologies that support greater efficiency and automation in R&D and advanced materials analysis.

  • Booth seminars: Introductory analytical seminars presented by specialists (eight sessions per day)
  • Analytical consultations (reservations recommended): Rigaku specialists will be available to answer questions and provide advice on analytical challenges. Users of other manufacturers’ products and those new to analytical techniques are also welcome.
  • Exhibitor seminars: Presentations on the latest analytical technologies and applications in areas reflecting current market trends, such as AI, batteries, and pharmaceuticals (10 sessions in total)

At JASIS 2026, Rigaku will launch the Rigaku App, providing easy access to information tailored to customers’ interests. Based on selected analytical techniques and fields of interest, users can access content such as application notes, videos, and webinars, as well as receive notifications with the latest updates. The app will initially be available in Japan, with a global rollout planned from 2027 onward.
