TOPIQ | Supermini200 – compact, versatile and most powerful elemental analysis in petrochemicals

In this webinar we will show how the use of a compact, high performance benchtop WDXRF analyzer can simplify the elemental analysis for a wide range of petrochemical products. Ultimately, the Supermini200 can minimize instrument-operating costs.

Typical samples and products are crude oils, heavy fuel oils, intermediate refinery products, automotive fuels, new and used mineral oils and others. In all these samples, the Supermini can analyze the needed majors, minors and trace elements.

Compared to other elemental analysis techniques like ICP (Induced coupled plasma spectroscopy) and AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy) elemental analysis via XRF is quick and easy. Sample preparation and analysis can be performed simply with basic training. Laborious sample preparation like acid digestion and dilutions are not required. Costly daily calibrations / recalibrations are not needed and calibrations can be used for years. The running cost of gas will not be a huge consumable in your laboratory.

In the webinar we will cover the analysis of ultra low S in fuel oils (ASTM D2622, EN ISO 20884) and the analysis of additives in lube oils (ASTM D6443, EN ISO 51399). Further we will present the advantages of using a powerful universal calibration.

The webinar will start at 10 am (CEST)
