Electro-Mechanical Assembler (Cedar Park, TX)

POSITION:                   Electro-Mechanical Assembler

REPORTS TO:              Operations Manager

Overview:

Applied Rigaku Technologies, (ART), a subsidiary of Rigaku Americas Holding, a global supplier of innovative analytical instruments for cutting-edge applications in biotechnology, is currently looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly of analytical instrumentation, fabrication, and testing. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Cable assembly.
• Electro-Mechanical assembly.
• Board assembly.
• Final product assembly.
• Documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related software.
• Flexibility and willingness to meet changing priorities is essential.
• Strong technical background with attention to detail.
• Good documentation and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and openly communicate with colleagues.
• Ability to learn new products and software platforms as needed.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Extensive background in electromechanical assembly. Hands on experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing, performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
